Kevin is a short distance trail-runner based in Hong Kong. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and spent time in the US and UK before finding himself HK.
Introduced to trail running in the UK and completing the Lakeland 100 just three months later, that experience got him hooked and his main focus since then has been trail-running.
Kevin’s niche is short technical trail races (up to 30km with 2,500m+ elevation) that are fast and runnable, and can be done on a single tank of fuel.
Kevin has had an impressive run of results of late with 16+ podium finishes and highlights including 1st place finishes at Shatin Twin Peaks (26km), The Green Race Braemar Hill (15km) and series wins in the AVOHK Reservoir Series and King Of The Hills Half Marathon series.
Kevin incorporates strength & mobility exercises into his training schedule and subscribes to a plant based diet and daily yoga routine.
Kevin’s favourite AMO sunglasses are the Ironcatchers, one of the Transformer Series. “There interchangeable lens and profile are perfect for HK Trails. I doubt I could win without them to be honest!“
